Our journey of mindfulness, community, and transformation
StudioTer Yoga was born from a simple yet profound vision: to create a sanctuary where people could find peace, strength, and community through the ancient practice of yoga. Founded in 2018 in the vibrant Lawrence Avenue corridor of Chicago, our studio has become a beacon of wellness in the community.
Our founder, Sarah Martinez, discovered yoga during a challenging period in her life. The transformative power of the practice inspired her to share this gift with others, leading to the establishment of StudioTer at 3459 W Lawrence Ave.
Today, we're proud to serve a diverse community of practitioners, from complete beginners to advanced yogis, all united by a shared commitment to growth, wellness, and mindful living.
To provide a welcoming, inclusive space where individuals can explore the transformative power of yoga, cultivate mindfulness, and build a supportive community that extends beyond the studio walls.
The principles that guide everything we do at StudioTer
We believe in the power of connection. Our studio fosters a sense of belonging where everyone is welcomed, supported, and encouraged to grow together.
We honor traditional yoga teachings while embracing modern insights, creating an authentic practice that respects the ancient roots of yoga.
We support each student's individual journey, celebrating progress in all its forms and encouraging continuous learning and self-discovery.
We cultivate present-moment awareness both on and off the mat, helping students develop tools for stress reduction and inner peace.
We're committed to environmental responsibility, using eco-friendly materials and practices that reflect our connection to the earth.
We prioritize the physical and emotional safety of all our students, creating a space where everyone can practice without judgment or pressure.
