Agreement to Terms

Welcome to StudioTer Yoga. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our yoga studio, classes, services, and website located at 3459 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60625, United States ("StudioTer," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Studio Policies

Class Attendance and Punctuality

• Arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins
• Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes) may be denied entry for safety reasons
• Leaving early disrupts the class; please inform the instructor beforehand
• Cell phones must be turned off or on silent mode

Studio Etiquette

• Maintain a respectful, quiet atmosphere
• Remove shoes before entering practice rooms
• Clean and return all props after use
• Respect personal space and boundaries of others
• Avoid wearing strong fragrances or perfumes

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Class Bookings

• Classes may be booked online, by phone, or in person
• Advance booking is recommended to guarantee your spot
• Drop-ins are welcome subject to availability
• Class capacity is limited for safety and quality instruction

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

• Cancel at least 4 hours before class time to avoid charges
• Late cancellations (under 4 hours) result in loss of class credit
• No-shows will be charged for the full class
• Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Payment Terms

Pricing and Payment

• All prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• Payment is due at time of service or as agreed for memberships
• We accept cash, credit cards, and electronic payments
• Returned payments will incur additional fees

Memberships and Packages

• Memberships are non-transferable unless specifically stated
• Class packages expire as indicated at time of purchase
• No refunds for unused classes or memberships after 7 days
• Membership freezes available for medical reasons with documentation

Health and Safety

Health Disclosure

You must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations that may affect your ability to participate safely in yoga classes. You are responsible for informing instructors of any changes to your health status.

Participation at Your Own Risk

Yoga involves physical activity that may result in injury. By participating, you acknowledge that you understand the risks and participate voluntarily at your own risk. Listen to your body and do not push beyond your limits.

Instructor Guidance

• Follow instructor guidance and modifications
• Inform instructors immediately of any discomfort or pain
• You may decline physical adjustments or hands-on assists
• Rest in child's pose whenever needed

Liability and Release

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By using StudioTer's services, you acknowledge that:

• You understand the inherent risks of yoga practice
• You participate voluntarily and at your own risk
• You release StudioTer, its owners, employees, and instructors from liability for injuries
• You waive claims against StudioTer for any damages or losses
• You agree to indemnify StudioTer against third-party claims

Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of StudioTer and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Privacy and Photography

• No photography or recording without explicit consent
• StudioTer may photograph classes for promotional purposes
• Notify us if you prefer not to be photographed
• Your privacy and personal information are protected per our Privacy Policy

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other students, instructors, or the studio.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
